Comfy, comfy, comfy in NYC

Ladies and gentlemen, a little cloud of comfiness I recommend for your next NYC visit: The Surrey Hotel. Click the pics for a slideshow treat.

Comfy.

The sitting area was a perfect place to plan your day and enjoy the morning paper.

Lamp

I LOVE the glass floor lamp. Don't you? Clever use of color blocking on the walls, I thought.

WIndow Seat

A great needlepoint stretched out over the radiator... a nice touch, I thought. "Through these windows lies the soul across Madison and down 5th Avenue..."

So nice to be able to hang everything up in the hall closets. Again, color blocking was well done. Also, "Where's Waldo?" ;-)

This view was a wonderful way to start the morning...

Just a little sliver of a Central Park view....

Look at that little skirted lampshade. I want to pinch it's cheeks.

A thoughtful touch...

Etched glasses - I wish I knew where they came from - I'd love a set.

Syberite, me. I loved this shower. All of the fixtures were from Waterworks.

Beautiful. It’s all those little touches that make a room away from home feel cozy. New York sounds wonderful. Trina

That place looks like my idea of perfect! Did you stay there? If so, why didn’t you snag things to share with your friends? lol
