A Man and His Glue Gun

by Nathan on February 25, 2010

And I’m not talking about Christopher Lowell. These photos will be winging their way around the blogosphere soon, so I figured I’d get a jump on it.

I can hear Liberace quietly weeping for joy, somewhere. Photo: Ethan Pines for The New York Times

Many, many sins. Carpet in the bathroom. Red carpet. And a daybed one foot away from the, um, fixture? A very, very ruffled daybed? Who wants to hang out there? Photo: Ethan Pines for The New York Times

This is actually subdued, compared to other rooms, believe it or not. Photo: Ethan Pines for The New York Times

That article was hilarious but weird. And Larry really ought to have a licence if he’s packing a glue gun for decor atrocities.

Now Larry, just put the glue gun down on the floor & come quietly with me. There’s some nice men who want to take you away for a nice little rest. The lovely place we are going to is called The Shady Pines Glue Gun Rehab . Centre. Don’t make any plans for the next 2 years, I think it will take that long to cure you, your ‘affliction’ is the worst we’ve ever seen. It’s a shame we weren’t alerted to your problem earlier it’s terrible that things have got to this stage. But I have great hope that all will be well after your treament.

It’s a bit glue-me in there though, don’t you think?

I try to be open to new design becuase that’s how things move forward, etc. BUT red carpet AND a daybed 12 inches from the toilet has majorly grossed me out!

On a more bright note, the piano is shiny!

I found this endlessly amusing! And I’m pretty sure I had one of the heart-shaped ruffle pillows when I was a kid. Except it was country-powder pink, which is actually worse than these.
